This is serious. Election period is the only moment where one sees a politician doing the unusual especially in Africa. The senator representing Benue North-West (Zone ‘B’), and former governor of Benue State, George Igbeigbe Akume Dajo, today took to the streets in a rare show respect to the ordinary people.
The Senator reportedly went out on the Makurdi-Gboko Road where he stopped motorists and took time to greet and pay homage to commuters, as can be observed in the attached photos.
This may well be a case of realization of the might of the ordinary people whose powers are increasing by the day, particularly with elections around the corner.
