Mohammed Musa Dimis was arrested inside the reserve for hunting at the Yankari national park in Bauchi state on October 8th. He was taken to court and was sent onto remand awaiting trial. He killed two guinea fowls before his arrest. Continuous patrol by Yankari rangers has helped to reduce hunting pressure in the reserve.
